US Taxpayers may claim a charitable deduction for gifts made to Sibu Sanctuary through Amigos of Costa Rica, a US 501(C)3 Public Charity. To be certain your gift reaches Sibu, please be certain to note that your gift is intended for Sibu. Amigos of Costa Rica includes and serves several local organizations’ fundraising efforts.

Please retain your Paypal receipt or your cancelled check as evidence of gifts under $250. For gifts of $250 or more, or in cases where several gifts from the same taxpayer total $250 or more in a calendar year, Amigos of Costa Rica will issue the IRS required receipt for larger gifts. The tax receipt will be issued at the time a single large gift is made or, in the case of accumulated gifts, during the month of January in the year following the year in which the gifts were made.

Adopt-a-Monkey purchases do not qualify for tax deduction.
